External Course Approvals by APTA MA

The APTA MA course approval process ensures all educational content submitted meets criteria for Continuing Education Units (CEU) / Continuing Competency Points (CCP) approval. The approval process is in line with criteria for most other states and potentially for other disciplines such as OT, AT, etc.  APTA MA cannot guarantee CEU / CCP approval for use in other states / disciplines and is the responsibility of the course attendee to verify approval within their own state.

APTA MA offers 2 ways to have your course(s) reviewed / approved:

➡️Single Course review submitted through CEU Locker

➡️Approved Provider of Continuing Education: a provider and all courses offered in one year

  • Both approvals are good for 1 year from the approval date.
  • Each review must be submitted with attached information individually for approval no less than 3 weeks prior to the course offering and at least 3 weeks before the approval is expected.
