Annual Conference Presenters

All presentations should be presented within the scope of practice and evidence-based.  Presentations should not be focused on self promotion or promoting a product / service the presenter is affiliated with.  The exhibit hall provides opportunities for these types of promotion.

Please provide a presentation slide to disclose any financial conflicts related to the talk or that you have nothing to disclose.  If talking about a product you made money from or received industry support for research, please disclose this.

We are not requiring you to use a powerpoint template as long as you use this disclosure.  If you would like a copy of the APTA MA logo, please contact aptama@libertysquaregroup.com

Presentations of 60 minutes or greater will receive complimentary conference registration.  Presenters in this category will be automatically registered by the APTA MA office.   

Presentations considered as mini sessions (30 – 45 minutes) will receive a discount code to register for the entire day.  This code will be in your acceptance letter.

Platform and Poster Presentations: Presenters must register and pay if attending the entire conference  to receive continuing competency points for sessions attending.

Equipment Provided:

A microphone,  projector and screen will be provided.

You will need to provide your own laptop except platform presentation.  Please bring appropriate dongle for Mac computers.  

* Strongly recommend that presenters bring a backup of your presentation on a USB.

Presentation liaison:

Each presentation will have a liaison from the Annual Conference Committee.  The name and email of the liaison will be indicated in your acceptance letter. Feel free to reach out to this person with questions.

We need verification that you have reviewed and received information regarding your presentation.

Handouts for Educational Sessions or Platforms

We STRONGLY encourage handouts. 

Handout due date:  Nov. 3, 2026

All handouts will be formatted to PDF and added to an electronic folder.  No hardcopy handouts will be provided.  The folder will expire 30 days following the conference.

Preferred format for handouts:  3, 4 or 6 slides per page.  Recommend removing videos and just adding links if applicable.  You can submit in either ppt or pdf. 

Posters

We will provide bulletin boards and tacks / tape for the posters to hang.

The maximum size of the poster is 4″H x 8″W

Poster Judging: If you would like to participate in the poster judging, a digital copy of your poster (PPT slide or PDF) should be submitted below by the due date. This allows our poster judges time to grade the posters for the poster awards.

We will also provide your poster virtually to our attendees.

Platforms

 Your acceptance letter will indicate if your submission was chosen for a platform session.

The presentation should be 20 minutes and allow for 10 minutes of questions following the presentation.

All presentations should be saved either on USB or uploaded to your google drive. We will use one laptop in the platform presentation room for easy and efficient transitions between presentations.
