Students Host National Advocacy Dinners

Two National Student Advocacy Dinners will be held in Massachusetts this year on March 22nd & 23rd to foster interest and enhance skills in legislative advocacy for APTAMA student PTs and PTAs.

The first event will be held at Boston University's School of Communications on Thursday, March 22nd from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.  Follow this link to Facebook,, to let the organizers know you plan to attend.  Pizza and soft drinks will be provided.

A second event will be held the following night at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services in Worcester.  That event will also run from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.   Email us at if you plan to attend this event.

The events are part of a national program through APTA to encourage advocacy among students.  Last year's event drew close to 40 students at BU with MA State Rep Dan Cahill featured as the guest speaker.  Rep Cahill provided an insider's look at the political process.  The APTAMA is currently working to engage speakers for each of this year's events.
