We have lost a dear friend and colleague in the APTA family

As some of you know by now, our dear friend and colleague, Steve Levine, lost his life in an auto accident in Costa Rica. We are at a loss to find the words to describe the sorrow we feel for his husband and fellow physical therapist,  Bruce Anderson who is recovering from injuries sustained in the accident. Personally, I learned the ways of the HOD from Steve as Speaker. He was smart, polished, unabashedly proud of our Profession and driven to move us forward. His loss will be deeply felt by our Profession; but the hurt can be softened by our renewed dedication to the professional ideals that Steve embodied and we all should aspire to.
On behalf of myself and the APTMA, I extend deepest condolences to Steve's family. To our APTA family, who loved and admired him, we share in your sorrow.
