Functional Neurological Disorders (FND), also known as conversion or psychogenic disorders, are increasingly recognized on inpatient and outpatient neurology practices and referred to physical therapy. This session will discuss evidence supporting the biological basis for this disorder and the importance of identifying positive diagnostic criteria based upon physical signs. Presenters will discuss evidence based interventions for physical therapists in the management of patients with FND.
