Membership

To become a member of the APTA of Massachusetts, you must be accepted to or enrolled in a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant program that is accredited or is seeking or has been granted candidacy status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (see qualifications on application), or have graduated from an accredited PT or PTA program. If you graduated outside of the United States, you must submit specific documentation for membership. 

Member Dues
Simultaneous payment of national and chapter dues is required. You must belong to the chapter of the state in which you live, work or attend school, or of an adjacent state if more active participation is possible. Current member dues are as follows:

National APTA Dues:

APTA of MA Dues
Active Members: $120.00
Active-Student Members: $ 60.00
Life Members: $ 40.00
Affiliate Members: $ 60.00
Life Affiliate Members: $ 40.00
Student Members: $ 24.00
Student Affiliate Members: $ 24.00
Retired Active Members: $120.00
Retired Affiliate Members: $ 60.00
Corresponding Members: $120.00
