Spine Manual Physical Therapy: examination and intervention techniques including spinal manipulation
Description: this course will include an evidence-based, regional approach to examining and treating patients with cervicothoracic and lumbopelvic spine dysfunction. Interventional decision making will be emphasized highlighting the latest research findings on manipulation, clinical prediction rules and regional interdependence. Participants will receive a clinical decision making model to assist in identifying patients that may benefit from manual physical therapy. They will also have an opportunity for observation of demonstrations and hands on practice of manual physical therapy techniques including high velocity thrust manipulation for both the cervicothoracic and lumbopelvic regions.

Registration Fee
APTA of MA member fee $90
PT Non-member registration fee $250.
APTA MA Chapter Membership Promotional Offer: registration fee will be refunded for new members who join the MA chapter. This will apply only to new members or individuals with more than 1 year of lapsed membership and refunds will be provided after eligibility has been established.
