Welcome to the American Physical Therapy Association of Massachusetts, Inc., (APTA of MA).  The APTA of MA is a component of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is comprised of approximately 2,000 members, consisting of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students in the field of physical therapy.                       

The mission of the APTA of Massachusetts is to promote the health and wellness of the people of Massachusetts by advancing the profession and practice of physical therapy.

Vision: 

As leaders in functional health, the APTA of Massachusetts envisions a life free of physical limitations.

The APTA of MA strives to provide a central forum for the exchange of information for physical therapists and their patients in Massachusetts, as well as a center for continuing education.   In addition, the APTA of MA endeavors to inform physical therapy patients of what is available to them and to collaborate with insurers to ensure fair practices.
